Their commitment to fostering good business practices aligns perfectly with AMEA’s mission to enhance agricultural value chains.

SHONA builds prosperity by Guiding, Backing and Connecting entrepreneurs, to build Good Businesses in East Africa. SHONA is currently designing and implementing projects and initiatives that are supporting entrepreneurs building Agroecology / Regenerative Agriculture businesses that are contributing to a sustainable food system in East Africa - one of these is The Neycha Accelerator & Fund that identifies and partners with growth-oriented Agroecological Enterprises in Uganda and Kenya, providing them with the capacity, capital and connections they need to grow their impact and businesses.

SHONA is excited to learn from and contribute to the AMEA network to advance their work with entrepreneurs to build a sustainable food system in East Africa.
