AMEA local networks support the development of an enabling local environment for professional farmer organisations and create a space to generate learnings and address key challenges with other agribusiness stakeholders. AMEA works together with members and our regional network facilitators to identify the best sites for stimulating innovation around systemic approaches to improving business development services for farmer organisations and agri-SMEs. Through the Local Networks, AMEA engages with the public sector, local service providers and farmer organisations to design scalable approaches to create a supportive ecosystem for farmers.
AMEA currently has five active local networks. We aim to expand to seven local networks (including Asia and South America) by the end of 2022.
