New local member: Goldstone Consulting

AMEA is happy to announce that Goldstone Consulting is joining us as a local member in Uganda!

Goldstone Consulting is a multi-sectoral enterprise consulting and training firm based in Kampala, Uganda, with a presence in Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, Zambia, and Ethiopia through liaison partners. Goldstone aims to address poverty through enterprise development and financing, focusing on WASH, renewable energy, agribusiness and education.

Goldstone provides services to government, local and international NGOs, as well as private sector and Civil Society Organizations. Their services include consultancy, specialized research, project support and institutional development. They also offer investment finance advisory service, business advisory services, consulting and training.

The Goldstone Management and Board deemed it acutely necessary to seek AMEA membership in order to use it as a firm springboard for serving its clients better, and to use it as a forum to deposit and draw knowledge and best practices from the AMEA network.

Daniel Bukenya Yiga, Managing Director, Goldstone Consulting

Goldstone Consulting aims to fight poverty through entrepreneurship. Agriculture is the backbone of Uganda’s economy and a prime employer of women and youth. In agriculture, Goldstone focuses on access to finance for value addition, market access, and supply stimulation for agri-businesses. They provide Business Development Services, Technical assistance and Transactional Advisory Services to SMEs in Agribusiness. Goldstone works closely with like minded partners and clients like USAID-Strategic Investment Activity, ACELI Africa, African Guarantee Fund, GIZ, Save the Children and the Uhuru Institute for Social Development.

We look forward to working with Goldstone in Uganda to strengthen BDS support for agri-SMEs.
