The Local Network in Ghana was established in 2024 and is led by the Ghana Chamber of Agribusiness. AMEA seeks to contribute to the Medium-Term National Development Policy Framework (2022-25), speficially tackling food security and income generation through modernising agriculture to encourage youth particiaption. The Local Network aims to address the challenges of coordination in the agri-Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and farmer organizations development sector, through the promotion of market-driven approachs. This aligns with many members’ approaches and projects in Ghana.
